Beef

We are offering 1/4, 1/2 or whole beef shares. We are raising our steers that are born and bred here on our farm to about 1500 lbs before they are taken to the processor. We are leveraging a processor that provides us with USDA approved processing. The pasture they graze on for the majority of their development is primarily Bermuda grass. We have three ponds on our property that collect groundwater when it rains, along with a wooded area below two dams that provides them relief from the sun on hot days, as well as wind chill relief in the winter. We currently utilize stacked round hay bales as well to provide relief from the extreme cold weather. We have plans to build more permanent windbreaks to manage the extreme weather more efficiently.
