Our Story
There’s a saying that there’s never a perfect time to pursue a dream. We can't wait for everything to align; instead, we must create our own opportunities. If you want to achieve a goal, it starts with the decision that today is the day to begin. So here we are, ready to take that leap! Our dream is to provide your family with the same quality food that our family cherishes. Knowing where your food comes from and how it’s raised is essential to us, and we take pride in what we offer.
When we first shared our plans to move to Oklahoma, my brother-in-law jokingly asked if I knew why geese fly upside down over the state—because there was nothing worth looking at! It didn’t take long for us to realize how wrong he was; Oklahoma is truly beautiful! Our friends thought we were a bit crazy, but they encouraged us to share our journey. At first, I hesitated to put our stories out there, not quite ready to reveal our missteps or the challenges we faced along the way.
Farming is so much more than the polished success stories you often see online; it’s a journey filled with hard work, challenges, and incredible rewards. After moving from the busy Washington DC area, we sought a more fulfilling life. We found a small home in North Carolina but soon realized it didn’t meet all our needs, so we ventured to Oklahoma, where we fell in love with the land. In a world where we question the quality of our food, we want to be transparent about our experiences—the joys, the struggles, and everything in between.
